Another fan poster read: “No place for character pigs in the club – neither on the field nor on the board!”
Also a swipe at Max Eberl, who is a candidate for the vacant position of sports director? The manager was insulted by Gladbach fans as a “character pig” after he had to resign from his position in January last year due to illness and started at Leipzig a few months later.
President Herbert Hainer (69) says about the poster and the possible Eberl connection: “These are interpretations. I can’t comment on that. In principle it is clear: We have clear values at FC Bayern and we follow them too – and now we are concentrating on football again.”
When asked by BILD about the poster, Tuchel said: “I’m hearing that for the first time. I have little understanding for that. This is a hair-trigger insult. That’s too anonymous, too striking.”
