FC Barcelona: Ex-Dortmunder Alexander Isak is probably a possible alternative for Erling Haaland

FC Barcelona would like to sign Erling Haaland. If the deal doesn’t work, an ex-Dortmunder is obviously an alternative.
FC Barcelona is just one of many top European clubs who want to sign Erling Haaland this summer. The 21-year-old Norwegian can leave Borussia Dortmund thanks to an exit clause for a reported transfer fee of 75 million euros.
If the preferred candidate Haaland does not switch to Barcelona – in the race for the top scorer should also Real Madrid and Manchester City be – the Catalans have noisy Sports identified three players whose signing is being considered.
This is apparently about Antony and Ajax’s Lisandro Martinez and ex-Dortmunder Alexander Isak, who is currently playing for Real Sociedad. With all three, however, Barca still doubt whether they can compete at a higher level.
Manchester United are also close to Isak
Isak has flourished since moving from BVB to Real Sociedad in 2019. So far this season, the Swede has scored four goals in the Primera Division and three in the Europa League.
