FC Augsburg: Ricardo Pepi will probably switch to FCA

Ricardo Pepi is hotly courted and several top clubs are said to be interested. The US talent is now apparently switching to FC Augsburg.
Next round in the transfer battle for Ricardo Pepi. Like the Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano announced, the 18-year-old talent from the USA is about to move from FC Dallas to FC Augsburg.
The transfer fee is said to be 17.5 million euros, which would represent a new transfer record for Augsburg. The highest transfer fee paid by the club to date was 10.5 million euros for Martin Hinteregger in 2016. Pepi is supposed to do the medical check on Sunday.
Change to Augsburg? Ricardo Pepi auditioned for Bayern
Most recently, everything indicated a move to VfL Wolfsburg. FC Bayern Munich, which has a partnership with Pepi’s current club, FC Dallas, is also said to have been interested. In February he even completed a trial training session in Munich.
Pepi scored 13 goals in 31 games in the past MLS season. So far, he has completed seven full international matches for the USA, in which he scored three times.
