But this cat is not a product of digital imaging, the kitten is real.
Liznya from Russia is quite overweight.
Therefore, their owner is now even accused of animal cruelty.
Because the furry nose is already really famous on Instagram because of her body measurements. On her fedupcat account, some followers now suspect that the cat is now being regularly overfed, just for even more followers.
That’s why her owner Vlad now felt compelled to take a stand. In a detailed statement to Metro, he explains the real reasons for Lyznia’s overweight.
“We never tried to overfeed Liznya. Some people wrote that we do it on purpose. How can you imagine that?”
After the cat had had offspring and was then sterilized, her body size had grown massively.
“Thanks to her current diet plan, she is no longer gaining weight, but she is still having trouble losing weight,” says Lyznia’s owner.
