Milan Fashion Week is back with 60 shows in front of an audience – with rows of seats as full as in the days before the pandemic.

Ferrari at fashion week? Anyone who thinks of the latest racing cars on the catwalk is wrong. Rather, on Sunday morning in Milan, models presented the brand philosophy of the sports car legend that has become fashionable.

Ferrari launched an ambitious fashion project last year, and now the collection is being presented for the first time among the great Milanese designers – with the looks for the autumn/winter 2022/23 season.

The origin of the brand is recognizable in many places. The classic Ferrari red is sprinkled over accessories and lining in an otherwise all-black combination. The lettering appears in many places, sometimes boldly set, sometimes subtly. There are also sporty stripes, overalls, lots of leather, cuts that streamline the body.

But creative director Rocco Iannone also cut the connection to the automobile in the show. And showed, for example, sweaters with extra-long sleeves, casually wide suits, abstract patterns or voluminous scarves.
