He benefited from participating in the “jungle camp”, says fashion designer Harald Glööckler. He was able to overcome his fear of heights.
According to his own statements, fashion designer Harald Glööckler (56) went to his limits in the RTL “jungle camp” – and beyond.
“I faced my fears and found that I – or you – can do anything if you’re ready,” he told the German Press Agency. The very first test took place at a great height. “It was a huge challenge for me because I suffer from a terrible fear of heights and I don’t have a head for heights,” reported Glööckler, who also had appointments at the current Berlin Fashion Week. “But I couldn’t say no right at the beginning. So I thought: Close your eyes and through.”
He would take part in the reality show again. “It was a wonderful, great experience for me that I don’t regret. On the contrary, »said Glööckler. Nothing surprised him. “It was just how I imagined it. As much as I’m a visionary, I’m also a realist and can judge things quite well.” In retrospect, he did not watch the consequences. “I don’t usually look at what I’m doing. It’s often sobering to look second-hand at things you’ve made.”
A good six years after moving to the Palatinate, he will be back in Berlin more often in the future. In the capital he wants to “bring the business forward,” said Glööckler. Main residence remains Kirchheim in der Pfalz. Media reports that he left his husband are false. “It’s sad that you have to justify yourself when you take some furniture with you to the second home.”
As part of the Berlin Fashion Week, the artist is one of the guests of designer Anja Gockel. Then Glööckler presents “pompous sunglasses”, as it was called.
The jungle camp ended in February with Filip Pavlovic winning. Glööckler was eliminated in the semifinals. A total of eleven candidates took part. Glööckler was born in Maulbronn (Baden-Württemberg) and has lived in the Palatinate since 2015.
