At the start of the farm weeks at “Bauer sucht Frau” there will be “tongue skills”, “quality hay” and “Cinderella moments”.

Episode two of ““Farmer is looking for a wife” (Monday, 8:15 p.m. on RTL and on RTL+), that means: start into the farm weeks. And that also means: the farmers try to reach out to each other with the vehicle with which they pick up their chosen ones surpass.

“Cinderella moment” for Julia

As an “old-school gentleman”, André (33) chooses a carriage to impress his Julia (29). He doesn’t actually have to, because the way he looks is already hitting her in the head like she’s been hit by a board: “Bang, boom.” Nevertheless, she is happy about her “Cinderella moment” with the carriage.

They both quickly harmonize on the farm. No wonder, André is launching a cuteness offensive with puppies. His fitting nickname for Julia: “Praline”. Because she has such cute dimples that are constantly highlighted when she smiles all the time.

Things aren’t clicking for Carolin yet

Carolin (27) wants to score points with her Lucas (26) with a classic car. With a friend as chauffeur, she picks up the railway employee from the train. A surprise awaits Lucas at home. Because of water damage, he has to spend the night in a camper van. The enthusiastic young man still beams, even when he meets Carolin’s father and is allowed to help water the calves. Unlike Lucas, who grins all the time, Carolin still seems a bit reserved. “It hasn’t clicked yet,” she admits.

Why does Siegfried actually have “quality hay”?

Siegfried (64) prefers rustic charm. The bull breeder drives up in red work overalls in a tractor whose trailer he has lined with straw. His applicants Patricia (53) and Simone (55) do not ask, based on the famous porn meme, why there is actually straw here. Nevertheless, they approach the farmer cautiously. The Hessian offers them Äppelwoi and lets them smell his “quality hay”.

The ladies are quartered in different rooms on the farm. While Patricia is thrilled with the facility (by a man’s standards), Simone is disappointed. She already speaks of “beautification” that would be necessary. She would like more leopard print. There is initially an ice age between the unequal rivals.

Stephan (31) also drives up with the tractor. He built a bench especially for the trailer so that he could transport his Laura (26) safely. While driving through the forest, a bump in the ground causes Laura to spray champagne.

Christoph impresses with his “skill of tongue”

Christoph (28) even built a roof on the trailer of his tractor. Below he impresses Lisa with his “skill of tongue” (Lisa). Of course, only when a cherry stem is tied in your mouth. In general, Christoph has a thing for fruit; he comes out as a member of “Team Apfel”. He lives almost exclusively vegan. Even if Lisa likes to eat meat, that’s not a problem for her. What will probably make it more difficult for you to get to know each other is that the student has to reduce the farm week to three days because of exams.

And then there is Hans (65). In the first episode, with all due caution, he spoke of “love at first sight” for Elke (62). Even now he is still “flashed”. At the first hug he feels a “oneness” with him. He has draped a rose on Elke’s bed, but it is now dying. Elke saves her with a cut in the stem and fresh water. Hans sees the withering flower and its rescue by Elke as a metaphor for a blossoming late love…
