One farm week begins with a false start, another ends like a fairytale. Two couples kiss for the first time.

“We are generally not looking for an employee, but for true love,” reminds Inka Bause at the start of episode seven (Monday, 8:15 p.m. on RTL, also via RTL+). Even if some farmers are in 19 seasons of ““Farmer is looking for a wife” couldn’t be so sure. Poultry farmer Stefanie also emphasizes that she is not looking for an employee – otherwise her boy Timo would probably fail. Because the trained miner is not convincing as a “chicken whisperer” (Stefanie). A life on the farm but he can imagine it.

Christoph is making a comeback. His chosen one, Lisa, had to shorten her court week to three days due to exam stress at university. But because they both see “potential,” things are moving on now. She “missed him a little bit,” says the still cautious student cautiously. The organic farmer is more offensive and flirts with his lady-in-waiting.

Misfire with “Protz-Bauer” Steffen

Steffen starts his farm week with more horsepower than most farmers have in their stable. The full-time butcher and part-time farmer saved for his Lamborghini for ten years. Now he picks up his Kathrin from the train station with the 560 hp device. But then the “protz-bauer” has a problem. The lady-in-waiting’s suitcase is too big for the Lambo’s storage space. Typical woman, Steffen thinks. Typical of a man, Kathrin finds his attempts to push the luggage into the trunk despite it being visibly oversized.

The solution to the problem: Steffen first drives the suitcase to his yard and then his lady. He wants to be back in seven minutes, but Steffen overestimates the speed of his car. While waiting, Kathrin downs the obligatory champagne, but she’s not happy. Kathrin’s next disappointment comes on his farm. Your room is more spartan than a standard motel room. Not a picture hangs on the wall. That’s men.

“Microwave Queen” Susanne makes cheesecake from sugar cubes

Susanne is also confronted with a male household. Your retired farmer Dietrich-Max-Helmut has fewer clean potholders than his first name. In his kitchen, sugar is only available in the form of cubes. So Susanne has to dissolve them first so that she can bake her famous cheesecake in the microwave (!). But Dietrich-Max-Helmut and the self-proclaimed “microwave queen” Susanne like the result.

Meanwhile, Hannes and Jenny are getting closer. After driving the animals into the stable with an “epic” (Jenny) run, the “naughty badger” (Jenny again) Hannes pushes his lady-in-waiting into the hay. With a monologue that would probably have been rejected as too cliché even in a porno, he seduces her into a kiss: “There are better things than working.”

Underwater kisses with Patrick and Sarina

Another couple kisses in the current episode. Patrick and Sarina don’t go into the hay, but into his pool. Here, too, the kiss is introduced with a threadbare saying. After cooling down in the water, it’s time to heat up again, says Patrick. “So we’re back to work,” Sarina replies meaningfully. But Patrick of course means something different. The couple goes into hiding, entwined in a kiss. Where an underwater camera happens to be waiting.

Hans and Elke have broken the spell when it comes to smooching this season. Now their farm week is coming to an end. As a farewell, he gives her a heart-shaped strawberry cake. Probably not microwaved. “A perfect end to a perfect week,” says Elke.

“You touched my heart,” says Hans. He would like to “share his life” with her. Elke melts. Finally a man who can admit and express his feelings. Of course she wants to stay with him beyond the farm week. At the end, Elke calls their love story, one of the most beautiful and adult in the history of “Bauer sucht Frau”, a “fairy tale with a good ending”.
