Atlantis commercial from Saint-Herblain, near Nantes. This is the first official Lego store in the Nantes area, the only one in the west of France. On 160 m2, the store offers all the creative universe of the famous Danish brand.
There are major series for children (Ninjago, Friends…), licensed products (Harry Potter, Star Wars…), realistic constructions (Creator, Architecture…) whose prices can climb up to 799 euros per box. There is also, of course, the brick wall, where you can choose its elements individually (0.50 euro). Reproductions, screens, turntables reinforce the “experience side” of the store, which is obviously as popular with children as it is with adults.
“With Lego, there are no rules. We make our own stories, it’s fun and creativity that prevail, justifies Ben Collins, manager of the Lego store. The youngest will build, dismantle, reassemble. Adults are more interested in the collection, a model to exhibit, film scenes to reproduce. “

Particularly pampered, this community of passionate adults, nicknamed Afol (Adult fan of Lego), who does not hesitate to sometimes spend large sums, was obviously faithful to the appointment. Like Anthony, a thirty-something fan specializing in the space theme, who has “gotten into it” since the first confinement. “I was impatiently awaiting this opening,” he explains. We had been talking about it on the networks for several weeks. Before, the closest store was Paris or Bordeaux. It is much nicer to search here for what we are missing than to go to the website. “
Benjamin is looking for a gift for his child, even if he admits to keeping “abreast of trends” on the Afol social networks. “I come to see. I’m trying to get my son into this. We are starting to have a nice collection together. This store was missing in Nantes. There is an embarrassment of choice. The big plus, for me, is the self-service of bricks. We only find that here. “
