When Fani Willis started her new job in early January 2021, Donald Trump picked up the phone. In principle, one had nothing to do with the other, but it was to change Willis’ life forever. The Democrat had just been elected district attorney for Fulton County, the county that includes large parts of the metropolitan city of Atlanta, Georgia. The Republican tried to remain US President despite losing to Joe Biden.
