Family concert in favor of the SZ Advent calendar – Munich

On October 29, the robbers broke loose in the Hercules Hall. But Rufus Beck, together with the Symphoniker des Bayerischen Rundfunks, will quickly get the gang under control, because the spoils of the family concert should ultimately benefit the SZ Advent calendar.

Last year, Rufus Beck had to deal with a lazy group of ghosts. This year he has to deal with a gang of robbers at the family concert in favor of the SZ Advent calendar. And one can already be sure: Beck will once again tell the story in such a way that the little concert-goers will slide around in their chairs and their adult companions will also have a great time. It is just as certain that Katharina Neuschaefer, BR editor and author, has once again written a story tailored to Beck, with which he will inspire the audience in the Herkulessaal with full physical exertion.

That’s what it’s all about: It’s not easy for a gang of robbers in the desert. And certainly not a robber captain. A courageous attack with valuable booty is constantly expected from him. But lately it’s just not working. When the robber chief only stole an old sack during his next raid, the gang mutinied. The robbers have no idea that it contains one of the greatest treasures of the Orient, which the evil sultan is after. The BR Symphoniker with conductor Radoslaw Szulc and excerpts from “Scheherazade, op. 35” by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov provide musical accompaniment to the story, which was illustrated by Martin Fengel.
