The upcoming Netflix holiday movie, Falling For Christmas, starring Lindsay Lohan, has now been given an official release date.
As every year, the Christmas season is just around the corner. It will be festive on November 10th on the Netflix streaming service, as has now been announced. Then the Christmas romantic comedy “Falling for Christmas” starts with the former superstar Lindsay Lohan (36) in the leading role. Netflix announced the launch date on Twitter – and presented the official poster for the upcoming film.
That’s what “Falling for Christmas” is about
Lindsay Lohan plays rich, spoiled and newly engaged hotel heiress Sierra in Falling for Christmas. In a skiing accident, she loses her memory and ends up in the care of the attractive and down-to-earth pension owner Jake (Chord Overstreet, 33). He takes care of her together with his precocious daughter Avy (Olivia Perez).
Romantic comedy fans will already get an idea of how the plot is progressing from this official synopsis. Chord Overstreet, a well-known actor from the musical series “Glee”, plays the role of the pension owner Jake.
Will Lindsay Lohan Make Her Acting Comeback On Netflix?
Leading actress Lohan was once known for films like “Freaky Friday” (2003) or “Girls Club – Caution biting!” (2004) and was one of the most famous young actresses in Hollywood. After party excesses, things have been quiet about the former child star in recent years, but after “Falling for Christmas” she will also be in front of the camera for two more Netflix films. However, details of these upcoming projects are not yet known.
