Fabio Knez leaves the jungle camp in fourth place. In the interview he explains what annoyed him the most.
Why do you think it wasn’t enough for the final?
Fabio Knez: That’s of course difficult to say. I only have my perspective and I did my best. I can’t judge it from that point of view. In the end, of course, it’s the viewer who decides and maybe someone else was more interesting than me. But I am still very, very grateful and proud that I reached fourth place.
How disappointed are you about the expulsion?
Knez: I would be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed. Sure, you want to be on the throne with the flower crown on your head. I am very grateful to still be placed and to have fought my way into the top five as a “nobody”.
What was the first thing you did after leaving the jungle?
Knez: I greeted my loved ones, Daria and my sister. And then Daria handed me a double whiskey and a cigar. And then I took both of them.
Who or what annoyed you the most in the jungle?
Knez: Actually the small amount of food. I had to deal with that first. Of course, it was a bit of a shock to have so little to eat when you had three burgers for lunch the day before.
She and Heinz got along particularly well at camp. Has there been a reunion yet?
Knez: I really got along very well with Heinz. Unfortunately I haven’t met him yet. But I’ve only been here at the hotel for a few hours. I think I will definitely meet him in the next few days. And then we’ll sip an espresso together.
Who do you think will take the win?
Knez: That’s hard to say. It’s a very close neck-and-neck race and I’d definitely like it for everyone.
Who will you keep in touch with after the show?
Knez: I’ll put it this way: I can keep in touch with everyone. I haven’t had any bad experiences with anyone at the camp. From that point of view, I think we will stay in touch with everyone.
Are you planning to take part in other TV shows?
Knez: Of course it’s already planned, but as is often the case, it’s not ready for a decision yet. And of course there are some things that are already running in the background. You just have to let yourself be surprised.
