Despite all the scandals, the new film “Dalíland” will not do without supporting actor Ezra Miller, as the director assured.

Ezra Miller (29) will not be cut from the upcoming film “Dalíland”. The announced director Mary Harron (69) in an interview with the industry magazine “Variety”..

Miller plays the young Dalí in the film, but only in a few scenes. The older Dalí is played by Ben Kingsley (78). The latest controversy surrounding Miller has not affected the post-production of the film, which will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.

“The film was completely done and complete,” explained Harron. “It might have been different, especially if there had been some bad behavior while we were shooting.” But nothing happened during filming, “and the film is the film,” says Harron. Miller said she was “very professional and nice to everyone” during the shoot. “There were no problems or signs on set. So it was very upsetting and horrifying to read what happened later. Reading these things was sad, very sad, for everyone involved.”

“Serious intervention required”

The director also sees a problem: “I think it doesn’t matter how talented someone is, if they did something wrong, they have to face it. I also think that this is clearly not just a young star who is acting up. This is much more serious. This appears to be something that requires serious intervention, which hopefully has happened.”

The “The Flash” star has repeatedly made negative headlines over the past year: Miller has been arrested several times for rioting, assault and burglary. In addition, the Hollywood star is said to have manipulated a teenager. In a statement, Miller recently apologized and said he had started therapy.
