The athlete started his bike in New York at the end of June and rode to Los Angeles in three and a half weeks. Now he’s on his way back – on foot.

After crossing Monument Valley, German athlete Jonas runs Deichmann towards the Rocky Mountains on his US tour. The 36-year-old described the run through the famous valley in the US state of Arizona as the big highlight of his double US crossing. “My favorite days of running so far in this wild landscape,” Deichmann wrote on Instagram.

The extreme athlete, who holds several records for crossing continents by bicycle, started his bike in New York at the end of June and rode to Los Angeles in three and a half weeks. Now he is walking all the way back, has already covered more than 1500 kilometers and is expected in New York at the beginning of November.
