The exhibition “Hey Alter” in the “Denkraum Deutschland” series shows in an exciting way what happens when young and old talk to each other.
How many people have had discussions with older people when they were young that culminated in the sentence: “Were you never actually young?” and “Wait until you’re older and you’ll understand.” The young assert a point of view, the old argue against it – and vice versa. And even though we all live in an increasingly aging society, sometimes both believe that the other person must live on another planet.
