If the question has arisen in the past few days as to whether the regime in Iran is ready to give in: With the execution of Mohsen Shekari by hanging, the answer is now clear. A revolutionary court had sentenced him to death in a show trial that did not meet any legal requirements. He was accused of Mohareb – a fact without a clear definition, which describes the fight against God or rather the system of the Islamic Republic.
