Excluded after the conclusions of the RTS investigation in Switzerland, journalist Darius Rochebin will resume his show on LCI from next Monday. The announcement was made to the editorial staff of the channel by its directors, Thierry Thuillier and Fabien Namias, in the presence of the presenter. The TF1 group had indicated since the beginning of the case that it would comply with the conclusions of the investigation and confirmed at the beginning of the year that a return of the presenter to the antenna was under discussion.

Back at 8 p.m. for an interview with a personality

Darius Rochebin will therefore find within a week Darius Rochebin’s 20H, an appointment launched at the start of the 2020 school year, in which he interviews a great personality every day. He withdrew from it at the end of October after being implicated in an investigation by Time. The reference daily in Switzerland had described in detail the alleged harassment and “inappropriate behavior” within the RTS committed by several senior officials. Targeted in particular by the newspaper article, the new LCI star responded in early November by filing a defamation complaint against the daily, contesting “a series of allegations, innuendos and amalgams” which presented it “under a day that does not correspond to reality at all ”.

After several months of investigation commissioned by his former employer, the RTS concluded Friday that in his case, “none of the testimonies collected allows to conclude to acts relating to the sexual or psychological harassment, of attack to the personality or of any criminal offense ”. Elizabeth Martichoux, who had resumed the 8 p.m. segment on LCI, will for her part resume the political interview for the morning of the news channel, at 8.15 a.m.
