Things didn’t go well for Shinji Kagawa in Greece. Now the former Dortmund star is trying his luck in Belgium.
Former Bundesliga player Shinji Kagawa has found a new club. The Japanese signed with VV St. Truiden in Belgium. His move is free of charge.

VV St. Truiden, trained by Bernd Hollerbach, did not provide any information about the contract period. The club was bought by the Japanese Internet company DMM.com in 2017, which is why numerous Japanese (including VfB captain Wataru Endo) have played for the Belgians since then.
Kagawa had in December after a hapless interlude at PAOK Thessaloniki abandoned his tents in Greece and has been looking for a club ever since. Even before joining PAOK, the former BVB player was without a club for around four months.
