While relations between Paris Saint-Germain and the Mbappé clan are at their lowest, between an exchange of spicy letters and an ultimatum posed by Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, the French champion is still pursuing the same guideline: not to let his best player leave free in June 2024 at Real Madrid.
And that’s why, according to RMC SportPSG are still seeking to extend the captain of the Blues until June 2025. Still according to RMC Sport, the Parisian leaders could rely on a valuable intermediary in the person of a former leader of the Qatari group beIN Media, who remained close to Al-Khelaïfi: the Franco-Lebanese Ziad Hammoud has just been hired by Mbappé to be the managing director of his image management company KEWJF.
Credibility: 70%. Despite its muscular public discourse, PSG is obviously in a weak position in this case, and it is easy to imagine the club swallowing a few snakes so as not to be the turkey of the farce in the summer of 2024.
Mbappometer: The needle is in the middle. Real does not seem in a hurry to slap an incredible sum for a player that he can pick up without transfer compensation in a few months. We may see this more clearly when Mbappé returns to training, expected next Monday.
