According to a report, Evelyn Burdecki will not be able to take part in the “TV total Wok World Cup”. She injured her head and nose on Friday.

Evelyn Burdecki (34) will not be able to start at the “TV total Wok World Cup 2022” (from 8:15 p.m., ProSieben) on Saturday evening. This is reported by the “Bild” newspaper on Saturday afternoon. The TV personality was injured in yesterday’s Friday night qualifying session and is reported to have suffered a concussion and a bruised nose.

Also on her Instagram account Burdecki confirmed the incident without being specific. She posted video footage of the accident in her stories as she tried to jump onto a wok vehicle. She briefly commented on a picture of the St. Franziskus Hospital in Winterberg with the word “change of location”. She also posted a photo alongside moderator Elton with an ice pack on her nose.

Evelyn Burdecki: “My brain is slightly shaken”

At the time of her postings, however, Burdecki still seemed to be assuming that she would be part of the party today. She told the newspaper: “My brain is slightly shaken, my nose is a bit flat and I just wanted to glide elegantly, like an elf and full of vigour, over the ice to get my team off to a good start.”
