EV Landshut: Seven kilos of ice hockey history – Bavaria

EV Landshut currently only plays in the second German ice hockey league, but when it comes to its history, the club shines almost like a world champion. It has one of the most extensive chronicles of any ice sports club in the world. The two-volume work is 1,300 pages long, weighs almost seven kilos and documents ice sports in Bavaria from its beginnings in the early modern period up to the 4,000th league game of EV Landshut on March 28, 2023. Anyone who picks up the two books can read about them So leafing through requires well-supplied muscles. After the first work was published six years ago, ice hockey legend Alois Schloder presented the supplementary second volume a few days ago. It cannot be ruled out that another volume will follow. When the guests of honor expressed expectations in this direction at the presentation in the new Landshut Ice Arena, no energetic objection was heard from Alois Schloder and his co-editor Helmut Stix.
