“Europe in the original” – multilingual night of literature – Munich

Five European cultural institutions have joined forces to organize an event that has never taken place before: “Europe in the original”. Five well-known authors from different countries will read from their works, in their mother tongues and in German, bringing the diversity of European literature to life. Lecturers are the German author Friedrich Ani, the Spaniard Daniel Graziadei and the Frenchman Olivier Guez, as well as the Czech writer Dora Kaprálová and the Italian author Alessandra Sarchi. The reading night will take place on July 8th in the large garden of the Palais Seyssel d’Aix, the seat of the Institut Français. Co-organizers are the Goethe-Institut and the Spanish, Italian and Czech cultural centers in Munich.
