Euroleague – Bayern without a chance – Sport

The FC Bayern basketball team lost their third Euroleague quarter-final game against FC Barcelona 66-75 on Wednesday evening. With that, the Catalans took a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five series. After Bayern surprisingly won game two against the title favorites in Spain (90:75), Barça went to work this time with poisonous defense and high throwing precision, quickly rushed to 18:5 – and were already 49:31 points ahead at the break. The Munich team couldn’t be blamed for their fighting spirit, but especially against the former NBA forward Nikola Mirotic there was no herb, Barça’s top player led his team to a deserved victory with 25 points. On the Munich side, Vladimir Lucic was once again the best player (17), while Augustine Rubit (14) and Ognjen Jaramaz (13) scored in double figures.
