according to the announcement of the validator who wants to withdraw 0x01 execution-layer withdrawal credential required. “If a validator currently has a 0x00 BLS withdrawal credential, they must sign the operation, change it to 0x01 to enable withdrawals,” the Ethereum team said.
Shapella will be talking about two Ethereum upgrades, “Shanghai” and “Capella,” which enable withdrawals in the execution layer, as well as improvements to the Beacon chain consensus layer, which will be especially useful for ETH stakeholders who want to keep things simple. The Sepolia testnet is scheduled to be upgraded on February 28, followed by the Goerli testnet.
The Ethereum roadmap will see several updates following Shanghai, known as “Surge,” “Verge,” “Purge,” and “Splurge.”
