Ethereum Developer Announces Final Test Date of Merge on Goerli Testnet Network

The testnet merge is done in two steps. Starting August 4th with Bellatrix upgrades on the consensus layer, Bellatrix upgrades will be triggered at an epoch height of 112260.

The second stage of the upgrade is called the Paris execution layer. Proof-of-work (PoW) is proof-of-stake. This phase is expected to be completed between August 6-12, the Paris upgrade will be triggered by a specific Terminal Total Difficulty (TTD) at 10790000.
