Strange, somehow touching video for the first and so far only single with which Ariana Grande teased her new album. “Yes, and?” is the name of the song. A combative house number, sparkling synths roughened with very fine-grained sandpaper, straightforward drums, finely dabbed bass and above it a text that, oh, that’s what she should say herself: “Don’t comment on my body / Do not reply / Your business is yours and mine is mine / Why do you care so much whose dick I ride?” Paraphrased for family newspapers: Mind your own shit and not about who I’m dealing with privately at the moment.
