The starting order for the final of the Eurovision Song Contest is set: Lord of the Lost sing for Germany in starting place 21.

The starting order for the grand finale of the Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday in Liverpool has been decided: Germany will be one of the bottom places. As the organizers announced on Friday, Lord of the Lost will be the 21st act on stage. A total of 26 countries are competing.

The lower rank could possibly play into the hands of the Hamburg band, who perform their song “Blood & Glitter”. Because the TV audience often remembers the later performances better. As a reminder: ESC winner Lena Meyer-Landrut (31) appeared in 2010 at the ESC in Oslo as the 22nd artist. Malik Harris (25), on the other hand, was placed in the middle of the field in 2022 with his 13th starting place and finished last in the competition.

The first and the last act in the big ESC final

The duo Teya & Salena, who performed the song “Who the Hell is Edgar?” sings – right after the general intro of the international music competition. Finally, Mae Muller (25) will perform her song “I Wrote a Song” for Great Britain.

All in all, Lord of the Lost only has a small chance of winning, more precisely less than one percent. However, bookmakers consider a mid-table competitive placement to be realistic. ESC legend Peter Urban (75) recently revealed to the magazine “Gala” that he sees Germany in eighth place.
