Late drama in England’s top game!
Manchester City plays in the Premier League against Tottenham only 3:3. Shortly before the end there is a huge upset, the top striker Erling Haaland (23) really annoys you!
90.+5: With the score at 3:3, City attacks again. Haaland is violently straddled by Emerson Royal, but the Norwegian storm tank keeps his balance. First, referee Simon Hooper decides on advantage. Haaland takes the opportunity and plays a fantastic through ball to teammate Jack Grealish, who is free in front of the goal.
But then this! Referee Hooper suddenly blows the whistle and gives a free kick. Emerson sees yellow. However, ex-BVB star Haaland and City no longer understand the world and cannot understand why Hooper blows the whistle. Grealish is clearly not offside either. The referee’s decision remains a mystery to everyone involved.

But it doesn’t help at all. A little later, City called for a penalty (90+7) because Akanji was kept short. However, that is not enough for a penalty.
City only managed a draw in the third league game in a row. The English champions already missed out on victories against Liverpool (1:1) and at Chelsea (4:4).
The game against Tottenham is a real spectacle.
▶ Things get off to a strange start. First Son scores for Spurs to make it 0-1 (6th), then he scores his second goal of the day – but on the wrong side. An own goal from the striker makes it 1-1 (9th). Then Haaland humanizes and pushes past the empty goal (13th). You only see this very rarely…
▶ Foden gives City a 2-1 lead after a dream combination (31st). But Lo Celso equalizes again for Spurs (69.)
▶ Grealish makes it 3-2 (81st). But the Spurs hit back again – 3-3 with a header goal from Kulusevski (90th).
Then comes the mega-trouble scene involving Haaland, Grealish and referee Hooper – but all of City’s complaining doesn’t help anymore. At the end there is the third division of points in a row. City slips to third place in the table.
