Eric Philippi did not appear with Michelle this time, but with Papa Martin. After their joint “Always Sunday” appearance, both tears flowed.

Rust – Stefan Mross (47) welcomed numerous fans and top-class guests to his “Always Again on Sundays” arena in Europapark on August 13th. Among other things, Eric Philippi (26) was on stage – but he was not alone. Martin Philippi, the pop star’s father, was also there. Together, the father-son duo provided THE goosebump moment on “Always Again on Sundays”.

Not with Michelle, but with Papa Martin: Eric Philippi on “Always Sundays”

It was not only a television premiere, but also a particularly emotional moment for Eric Philippi. He and his father appear in the eleventh episode of “Always Again on Sundays”. Before the two captivate the TV viewers with their skills, they chat a bit with Stefan Mross about old times. “I had an incredibly beautiful childhood,” beams Eric Philippi.

Family cohesion is very important to the Philippis, you can tell that straight away. Then it’s on to the instruments. Eric sits down at the piano, Martin picks up his trumpet. Together they perform “I never wanted to grow up” by Peter Maffay (73).

After the second verse, Eric Philippi gets up from the piano, picks up his trumpet and plays alongside his father. A really nice moment. As the two play the final notes, their emotions overwhelm them. When Eric Philippi and his father Martin hug each other on stage, both have tears in their eyes. “Does he have a little pee in his eyes,” Stefan Mross also recognizes. You don’t stand on stage with your dad every day.

“It’s really something very special,” replies Eric Philippi. Those who were still looking forward to a love show with Michelle were unfortunately disappointed. Because Eric Philippi is – unlike the “Schlagerbooom” – on “Always Sundays” without her on stage. Sources used: ARD/Always Sundays on August 13, 2023
