There kitty launched by the ex-frontist and ex-zemmourist Jean Messiha, for the family of the policeman who shot Nahel, exceeded 900,000 euros, ten times the amount collected for the family of the teenager. Olivier Faure, the leader of the PS, called on GoFundMe, the hosting platform for the police kitty, to close the latter, as did Mathilde Panot, who said: “This kitty must be removed, immediately.” The president of the LFI group at the Assembly also drew a parallel with the kitty of the yellow vest boxer Christophe Dettinger, launched in 2019 and which was closed in just two days for non-compliance with Leetchi’s general conditions of use.
