Serious injuries sustained a driver whose car collided with a tree on the local road from Walkertshofen on Wednesday. According to the police report, the 41-year-old from Munich was heading towards Erdweg around twelve o’clock when, for an unexplained cause, he turned right off the road in his Audi in a long left curve and collided head-on with a tree. He was critically injured and then taken to the Großhadern Clinic by the ambulance service. According to the doctors, there is now no longer any mortal danger. At the scene of the accident, the Dachau Land, Eisenhofen and Schwabhausen fire brigades were on duty to secure the scene of the accident and to clean the road. A total loss of around 20,000 euros was incurred on the car.
