Von Bredow-Werndl wins dressage gold again at the European Championships

Dressage rider Jessica von Bredow-Werndl defended her title in the Grand Prix Special at the European Championships. The 37-year-old from Tuntenhausen, Bavaria, secured gold again in Riesenbeck with Dalera.
One day after the European Championship silver medal with the German team, the double Olympic champion dominated the first of two individual decisions.
The Danish Nanna Skodborg Merrald came in second with a scepter. The British Charlotte Dujardin came third with Imhotep, who won team gold on Thursday. There will be another individual decision in the free skate on Sunday.
