Cans, bottles, butts: Ranger Bernhard März has to clear away rubbish more and more often left behind by walkers, partiers and bathers on the Isar. How can you sensitize people to a respectful and mindful treatment of nature?
Bernhard März keeps looking attentively at the ground. “Here we go” – he points to a packet of cigarettes. The ranger trudges along the path in his khaki rubber boots to the large Waldram gravel bank. Chirping birds and the rustling of the nearby Isar accompany him through the alluvial forest. The shadows of the leaves hop on the ranger’s pale green vest until he walks out of the forest onto the light gravel. March looks around. The sun hits the stones. “I can see something up there again.” Burned coal stands out raven black between the light-colored stones.
