“The Puppet Stars”: Thomas Gottschalk replacement for Mirja Boes

The RTL show continues – but without the comedian Mirja Boes. One of the most famous faces on German television is stepping in for them.
Another show for the eternal entertainer: TV presenter Thomas Gottschalk (72) will moderate the entertainment show “Die Puppenstars” for RTL in autumn. The private broadcaster announced this on Thursday in Cologne. It’s the third season of the talent show.
Gottschalk succeeds comedian Mirja Boes (50). “In three complete episodes, the TV giant leads viewers through the shrill, funny and emotional puppet spectacle,” said RTL enthusiastically. The candidates compete in front of a jury of industry giants. In it sit the comedian Max Giermann, puppeteer Martin Reinl and the puppet “Kakerlak” aka Carsten Haffke. You judge the performances.
