The 76-year-old fell off his bike. He injured his hand in the process. But everything was “not so bad,” he wrote on social media.

Hopefully he’ll have everything under control again soon: The pop singer Jürgen Drews (76) injured his hand in a fall with his bike.

The musician – known for evergreens like “A bed in the cornfield” and “Everything under control” – published photos on social media showing him in a doctor’s room – with his arm in a plaster cast. You don’t have to worry about the “King of Mallorca”, Drews assured. “It’s not that bad,” he wrote. It happened when a bike crashed.

A spokeswoman told the German Press Agency that it was a “slight break” in the middle hand. But Drews is doing very well, he is at home. However, playing the banjo is currently not possible – it is about the gripping hand. But that also works again when the injury has healed.
