Enough daycare places, plenty of living space – Weisswasser is fighting against people moving away

The small town of Weisswasser in Saxony is fighting against population decline. In the last 35 years, two-thirds of the residents have moved away. Instead of 40,000 people, only 15,000 people now live there. This makes the place representative of many other rural places in the east.
