Oil and gas are becoming more expensive because of the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine. But what alternatives are there for heating and how can the energy transition succeed. After a good four weeks, however, it looks as if applications for funding can be made again. The budget committee has made 9.5 billion euros available for the efficiency programs. Money that is urgently needed for renovations and new construction in order to achieve at least the intermediate goals of the energy transition. In the district, the association Ziel 21 has committed itself to this goal and offers free initial consultations. The demand is currently very high, as Gottfried Obermair (FW), chairman of Ziel 21 and energy consultant, reported in an interview with the SZ.
