According to information from Provence which quotes the director of the establishment Macha Makeïeff, the demonstrators who had taken possession of the theater of La Criée in Marseille ended the occupation of the premises on Wednesday. “There was no assistance from the police in this context”, specifies to 20 minutes the prefecture of police of Bouches-du-Rhône.
The theater had been occupied since March 15 by intermittents, students and undocumented migrants who demanded in particular the abandonment of the unemployment insurance reform which is due to come into force at the beginning of July.
