The countdown to the start of training in September is on: young people from the district of Dachau who have not yet found a suitable apprenticeship and who have not yet been in contact with the careers advice service at the Dachau employment agency can register on Thursday, July 21, from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. in the Employment Agency in Dachau Munich, Straße 61a, inform about open training positions in the region. On this morning, the careers advisors are available to provide advice and assistance to those looking for training – without prior registration and without an appointment. Interested young people are asked to report to the customer counter in the entrance area of ​​the Employment Agency. “It’s not too late to apply. For suitable and motivated young people we currently have training positions in a wide variety of occupations on offer,” explains Nikolaus Windisch, head of the Freising/Dachau Employment Agency.

In mid-June, 367 apprenticeship positions were still vacant in the district. According to Windisch, young people who are currently being trained to become retail clerks, salespeople, commercial specialists, warehouse logistics specialists, bank clerks, dental specialists, wholesale clerks, electronics technicians for energy and building technology or bricklayers are currently being sought want. Further apprenticeships are available in the skilled trades.

Young people should bring their complete, printed application documents, i.e. curriculum vitae and certificates, to the counseling appointment.
