Emmys 2023: Winners at a glance – Media

The 2023 Emmys were awarded in Los Angeles on Tuesday night. Because of the strike in Hollywood – first the US Screenplay Guild and then the actors’ union stopped work – the original date of September 18, 2023 was canceled.

The drama series received the best series and television films Succession a total of 27 nominations. Also The Last of Us, Ted Lasso and The White Lotus had high hopes with around 20 nominations each at the 75th Emmys.

Three organizations are responsible for the award. These include the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in Los Angeles for evening programs “National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences” in New York City for daytime shows and movies, as well as sports, news and regional programming. Plus there’s that “International Academy of Television & Sciences” in New York City, which is responsible for all non-US shipments.
