Probity in politics: Emmanuel Macron in favor of exemplarity, but not the requirement of a clean criminal record
Emmanuel Macron was challenged on priority number 1 of the Citizen’s Agenda, probity in politics. He defended his record on the matter: “Laws were passed at the beginning of this mandate”recalled the President. “We have strengthened things a lot. The elements of transparency in public life, declarations of assets, potential conflicts of interest which govern the lives of deputies, ministers and public decision-makers”, he argued. Emmanuel Macron took the example of “the prohibition of the B2 criminal record, therefore, which marks the most serious convictions for those who want to stand for election”. He also recalled having “put an end to family jobs”. The president also recalled that Parliament has put an end to the parliamentary reserve, a kitty used at the discretion of deputies or senators.
Questioned by Jean-Raphaël, a listener from the Basque Country, Emmanuel Macron did not support the requirement of a clean criminal record for elected officials. Health: resources will continue to be reinforced

Questioned by Nicolas, who lives in Mayenne, on the question of medical deserts, Emmanuel Macron defended the decision to open numerus clausus for doctors.
