A bomb threat is received at a hospital in Bremerhaven. Then there is the all-clear. Patients were transferred to another hospital and are not expected to be transferred back until Friday.

The police gave the all-clear after a bomb threat at Klinikum Mitte in Bremerhaven. A police spokeswoman said no bomb was found after a search.

The fire brigade and rescue service had previously brought patients from six wards of the clinic to safety and transferred them to the Bürgerpark clinic. The patients should probably not be transferred back until Friday, the spokeswoman said.

According to initial findings, the bomb threat was received by the clinic in the late afternoon by telephone. The officials initially gave no information on the exact content and the author. Investigations have been launched.
