Elton John to bid farewell to Europe and North America in 2022

British pop superstar Elton John will perform on 30 new dates in Europe and North America as part of his grand farewell tour, interrupted by the global health crisis.

The interpreter of Your song and Candle in the wind will be on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Paris La Défense Arena, for his very last concert in France, his production company said in a press release on Wednesday.

In Australia and New Zealand in early 2023

The 74-year-old singer had started his farewell tour, baptized Farewell Yellow Brick Road in 2018, providing for more than 300 dates in three years across the world before it is disrupted by the health context linked to the coronavirus pandemic.

The tour will begin in May 2022 in Frankfurt (Germany) and will end six months later in Los Angeles after having crossed Europe, passing notably through Milan, Paris and Liverpool, then North America. Previously, Sir Elton John will play at Bercy – renamed Accor Arena – on October 10, 12 and 13, 2021 during three already sold-out concerts, initially scheduled for October 2020.

At the end of this tour, four other concerts will take place in Australia and New Zealand in early 2023.
