Elon Musk believes in “wokism” and the “great replacement”

Does Elon Musk also believe in fairies, ghosts and unicorns? It would have the merit of being harmless… Invited to a far-right political gathering in Rome, the billionaire reaffirmed his belief in “wokism”, an imaginary global militant movement which plans the destruction of civilization to defend minorities.

Elon Musk attributes to the “woke virus” the disaffection of many advertisers from his X platform, worried about an increase in far-right publications, an increase in disinformation and harassment pointed out by a number of observers, since he bought it back in October 2022.

Guest of honor at a racist far-right rally

“I think X will be fine, and we’re already seeing advertisers coming back to of the Atreju political festival.

This gathering, organized by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s far-right Fratelli d’Italia (FDI) party, was aimed purely at discussing the fight against illegal immigration. Elon Musk took the opportunity to develop another racist theory, that of the “great replacement” of white Europeans by black African immigrants.

Musk worried about fertility

The fiery billionaire thus warned that migration could not replace population growth, estimating that without an increase in the birth rate, “people will disappear”. Elon Musk thus highlighted the low fertility rate in Italy, a major concern for Giorgia Meloni’s party, judging that this represented a risk for companies wishing to invest.

To the journalist who questioned him and said that this would be a problem in 50 years, Elon Musk replied that it could happen “even much sooner”.
