Series star has hardly seen “Grey’s Anatomy”.

Lead actress Ellen Pompeo has hardly seen any of the 400 “Grey’s Anatomy” episodes that she has already shot.
Ellen Pompeo (52) has been playing the title role Dr. Meredith Gray in “Grey’s Anatomy”. Now she has in her Podcast “Tell Me with Ellen Pompeo” revealedthat she herself has only seen a few episodes of the successful hospital series.
“I only watched a handful”
Speaking to Martha Stewart (80) about the series, she explained: “This is my 18th season, that’s 392 episodes. … I haven’t seen most of them, I’ve only watched a handful.” And even that was mainly for professional reasons: “The few times I’ve directed, I’ve watched some old episodes. My intention is always to keep the spirit of the early days alive.”
Last month, the ABC television network announced that there will also be a 19th season of the show. Grey’s Anatomy is the longest-running prime-time medical drama series of all time.
Crossover with “Seattle Firefighters”
In Germany, too, there will soon be a new highlight for “Grey’s Anatomy” fans: At the start of the new “US series Monday” on ProSieben there will be a crossover of the doctor series and the spin-off “Seattle Firefighters”. At the start of the new episodes “Grey’s Anatomy” and the fifth season “Seattle Firefighters” from Monday, March 28, 2022, the popular series are linked in terms of content. The channel therefore shows the “Seattle Firefighters” once in the opening week at 8:15 p.m., followed by the start of the 18th season “Grey’s Anatomy” at 9:15 p.m.
The new episodes of the two US series are already available on Joyn and the Disney+ streaming service a week before they are broadcast on ProSieben.
