Elisabeth Borne expresses “all (her) solidarity with the populations”

Elisabeth Borne expressed this Saturday “all (her) solidarity with the populations” affected by the earthquake in the West, indicating that the State would “ensure that everyone has access to rehousing” if necessary.

“It is an unusual earthquake on our territory, so I would like to express my full solidarity with the populations who may have been worried,” said the Prime Minister, on the sidelines of a trip to Calvados. “We are obviously going to make sure that everyone has access to relocation,” she added, adding that the Minister for Ecological Transition Christophe Béchu would be there on Monday.

Elisabeth Borne mentioned a dozen houses “which a priori are no longer habitable” and “a few dozen” being the subject of “investigations to ensure that people can return to their homes”.
