The fifth “Star Academy” bonus was full of emotions this Saturday evening on TF1. Three students were in the hot seat, Victorien, Candice and Djebril, and were not able to perform in duet with the renowned artists of the evening like Slimane, Chimène Badi or Mika.
Mika marked the show by removing Axel’s shoe while the latter sang in the air, held above the stage by cables. The interpreter of Grace Kelly, who was supposed to receive the candidate and bring him back to the ground, ended up taking his shoe which was not laced. A live hazard which greatly amused viewers on X.
The eliminated person leaves “without resentment”
Another surprise of the evening: the arrival on stage of Lénie’s grandfather and Héléna’s mother. Lénie performed Bohemian of Charles Aznavour with his grandfather and did not hide his emotion.
A show full of surprises and hiccups which ended with the departure of Victorien. Candice was saved by the public while Djebril was rescued by his comrades. “Obviously there is a small part of me that is a little sad, but I feel good. I have no resentment. And I know that there are a lot of things waiting for me outside…” confided the eliminated person at the end of the show, according to TV Magazine.
