The acceleration of the Covid-19 epidemic in Hauts-de-France is starting to be felt in schools. This Tuesday,
the rectorate of Lille announced that eleven establishments had closed their doors in recent days in the academy.
This concerns six schools (Sacré Coeur in Auchy-les-Orchies, Joseph Ringeval in Raillencourt-Sainte-Olle, the primary school in Saint Hilaire-sur-Helpe, the primary school in Saint Louis in Roubaix, Saint Jean-Baptiste in Roubaix, Immaculée Conception in Saint Omer.), Four colleges (Saint Exupéry in Roubaix, Sainte Marie in Linselles, Franklin in Lille, Alphonse Terroir in Marly) and the vocational school Saint François d’Assise in Roubaix.
More than 250 classes have closed since last weekend
A list far from exhaustive which does not include classes closed in other schools in the region. As a reminder, a detected case of Covid is now sufficient to close the class, but not the entire establishment.
