Eleven men in a car – police stop suspected smugglers in Bavaria – Bavaria

In one day, the Federal Police stopped two cars of suspected smugglers entering the Upper Palatinate from the Czech Republic. Ten men between the ages of 19 and 37 plus the driver were sitting in one of the cars, a spokesman said on Monday. The federal police found this out during the inspection in Waidhaus (Neustadt an der Waldnaab district) on Saturday. The back seat had been expanded. None of the men could produce valid identification documents.

On the same day, the federal police checked another car in which four men between the ages of 19 and 23 were traveling without documents. The investigators assume that the men who entered the country illegally are refugees. Officials brought her back to the Czech Republic.

Investigators arrested the two suspected smugglers. A 31-year-old and a 56-year-old driver are now being investigated for, among other things, smuggling foreigners and illegal entry into Germany.
